in the Valley of Kashmir – The embodiment of secularism
23.09.1895 A Legendary Maharaja Hari Singh born. I every
year celebrate his birthday, remembering the great ‘Chhatriya Rajput’ who
integrated the Muslim Majority in the Valley of Kashmir and helped them to
become best artisans in shawl making, papier mache, carpet making, flowery
culture, horticulture and saffron growing.
For education he made several
education institutions in the valley for higher education of the Muslims and
hospitals etc. for health care.
