ISRO’s
birth belongs to the iconic & scientific temper of Vikram Sarabhai born on
12.08.1919 – 30/12/1971 (expired) at the age of 52.
Founded
IIM, Darpan, National Institute of Design, Headed Atomic Energy Commission on
the demise of Dr. Homi Bhabha.
Inventor
of “Cosmic Ray Intensity”. Propellants, nosecones and payloads. Converted the
fishing village of Thumba into ISRO.
Chandrayaan-2
the brain child of Dr. Sarabhai successfully enters lunar orbit today.
