40% - Warehousing need of the timeline
Various State
Government informed the Centre there is chronic need of warehousing with dunnage
for the storage of wheat crop / other farm produce.
Due to inclement weather i.e. untimely rain in April
& May when the wheat crop is ripe for packaging and sending to Mandies (Market)
for sale.
In Mandies also there
is no proper storage space and more than 40% gets spoiled. A great loss to the farmer as well as nation.
We need warehousing for
the uplift of farmer community in all sections on all India basis.
This is need of the hour and general people could
come for voluntary warehousing to avoid farmer’s suicide.
