– Kashmiri Pundits and the great sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji
Kashmiri Brahmins came
to Guru Teg Bahadur at Anandpur in May 1675 to seek the assistance & protection
against atrocities of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.

Saraswat Brahmin led the group of Kashmiri Pundit driven to dire straits by the
persecution by the state. Faced stiff taxes, atrocities, cruelty under the Muslim Mughal Governor of Kashmir. Honor of their daughter & sisters was
being lost and they were losing their religion to the fanatic zeal conversion.
Today also Kashmiri Pundits seeking justice from
Sikh Community on this day.
Appeal to Governor Satpal Malik to give some sops to
downtrodden Kashmiri Pundits living in camps in Jammu & other places for
their return to the valley of Kashmir.
