We pray that Islamic radicalism steps down and offers peace a chance. We pray that the Kashmiri Muslims listen to their heart instead of a Mullah issuing orders on a microphone. We pray that the Kashmiri pundits get their long denied constitutional right to live in India and settle down in any part of the country they deem fit to be their home. We pray that Muslims welcome Hindus with open hearts in the valley, just as Muslims were received by the local Hindus several generations ago. We pray that all bad blood is forgotten. If Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Zoroastrians, Sikhs, Jews and other Animist faiths along with their multitude of sects, castes and creeds can prosper in an India where 80 percent of the population follows Hindu culture, then why can’t the Kashmiri Muslims tolerate a mere 4 percent of humans sharing their valley. We pray that the next jihad in the valley is in the name of Love and Peace.
