World War-I Sikh Solider statue vandalized
Dismayed with profound
grief and sorrow that Sikh Solider Memorial Statue vandalized by radicalized Jihadi
/ racially aggravated criminals.
The statue Lions of the
Great War was commissioned by the Guru
Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick temple and was unveiled on 4 November for World War-1 centenary.
It is not the insult of ‘Sikh Solider’ but whole UK’s
Soldier Fraternity who took part in WW-1 on behalf of UK.
I have written sacredly
in my book IS GOD DEAD????? The Truth About Jammu & Kashmir on Chapter
Sikhism, Page-175, Para-3.
“Sikhism expects to embody the qualities of a ‘Sant
Sipahi’ i.e. the Saintly Soldier.”
World should condemn
this act of vandalisation as a ghastly crime against community who yearns for
peace, tranquility and compassion means ‘cosmopolitanism’
and respected by one and all.
