Sanitary Workers and Scavengers on
Strikes for not getting wages from MCD – Shameful for Environment Day
Delhi Capital of Indian Union and MCD employs a battery
of Scavengers and Sanitary workers for keeping the city clean and garbage free.
This prime group of MCD
for the sanitation duties. Unfortunately,
almost time they are on Hadtal (Strike) being not paid salary in time.
I ask MCD, when a JE
and House Tax Inspector make crores of rupees. No salary for this group.
