UN Cannot Confirm Delay In Syrian

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov's
annoucement earlier the same day that the UN-backed Syria peace talks scheduled
to take place in Geneva on February 8 would be put on hold until the end of the
month. He did not give a reason for the delay.
